Already completed my 2 appliqued blocks for our guild party .
Thanks, Amanda, for your lovely design work . Marta

PS No last name included here, as there are so few of us in USA, it would be recognizible. Received your newsletter for a few years now.

  16. I am working on Christmas quilts of course. Getting the binding finished on three of them is my first hurdle.

  17. More Christmas quilting for me! I was bemoaning a rotary cutter mistake when I realized it made room for a quilt label: happy accident!

  18. Fantastic looking designs in your book. Yep, I would love to colour up those pages and would share with my daughter, perhaps even the hubby. ggg

    1. Oh, and I am sewing up 50 coasters for my DH’s Bridge group. Then I can get to finish up my family’s gifts. Need to finish up a couple of wall quilts and some Christmas placemats. Have 30 gingerbread pockets made for my friends and neighbours as I started early this year.

  19. I am working on some Christmas coasters. I thought I had cut out enough but then kept on thinking of more people to give them to. So I better get some more fabric out!

  20. Right now I am working on some zippered pouches for gifts. Such great fun to choose fabrics.

  21. I’m quilting my grandniece’s Christmas present – her first “big girl’s” quilt. I was making the top for my mother when she died. I put it away, didn’t really want to think about it. Then last year I was reorganizing some things in my studio, came across it and realized that it would make a perfect quilt for Eliza, who was born a year after Mom died. She has the same initials, looks, and personality – the quilt was obviously destined for her and it’s a link between her and the great grandmother she never met.

  22. I’m starting a new baby quilt. Love your coloring book. Thanks for the chance to win!

  23. I am quilting a large, lap-sized quilt to be given to a charity for a Christmas gift. Then I must quilt 2 table runners for family gifts.

  27. I’ve got two projects to get started and completed asap. First, my niece had a baby boy several weeks ago and I want to send a baby quilt. The second project is a quilt for my Dad who has just begun chemo treatments and gets very chilled so want to send him a quilt to hug him since I’m not there to hug him myself.

  28. Love this coloring book! I find coloring so relaxing. I’m currently working on instructions for a quilt for a church magazine. Next step is to make some blocks as samples.

  29. Right now I am working on piecing a backing so I can sandwich a quilt together and get it quilted. For a second project I am also working on a Christmas themed quilt. Hopefully I will finish it before Christmas. Your coloring book would be so fun to own and I actually have coloring books on my Christmas wish list.

  30. What beautiful designs! Today I worked on a BOM project from my LQS. The quilt has lots of appliqué of teapots.

  36. I always have several projects going–a storm at sea block from a guild class with Wendy Mathson I took in October; a Judi Niemeyer pattern “Celebration” that I started in May in a guild class; I’m trying to keep up with my local guild’s block of the month this year–falling behind right now, though!

  37. I’m still working on Christmas gifts and it’s slow going. I’m hoping to be able to get more done this week. I’m working on kitchen items, potholders, towels and trivets.
