Christmas Magic Countdown Sew-Along (and shops where you can purchase Christmas Magic!)

Hi everyone,

Gosh, I meant to get this off before Market (more on that later) but time got away from me, and now that I’m back things are gearing up for BERNINA’s dealer event, BERNINA University, so I wanted to take a moment to let you know that my Christmas Magic line is now shipping to shops!

There are three patterns for this line, Christmas Magic Sampler, Christmas Magic Tree Skirt, and Gingerbread Star. Oh and there is also a free pattern you can get over on my Downloads page. If you love this line and/or the patterns, please ask your local shop to order them! I like to support the local shops if possible always. This type of request really helps the industry stay healthy and thus also helps independent designers stay doing what we love, and we so so appreciate it! (If you aren’t lucky enough to have a local shop I do have printed and PDF patterns in my shop, but I don’t stock fabric so see more info below.)

Also, I wanted to let you know that I’ve had so many requests for some type of sew-along for Christmas Magic Sampler I’ve decided host one over in my Facebook Group, Quilting with Amanda Murphy. Each month we’ll be working on a block (or two or three) from now through October. That leaves some time for quilting before the holidays. And each month I’ll be sponsoring prizes (maybe even some advance fabric!) to one lucky winner who posts a picture of their block. I’ll be putting up alternate finishing instructions to make placemats, pillows, etc. with the blocks of the sampler on my Downloads page. You can do all the blocks or just participate in a few of the months – it is up to you. So if you are looking for some extra motivation (I know I could use some!) to get those holiday items done, please join us!

We’ll start on June 1st over in the Facebook Group and the deadline to post pictures will be the end of each month. Oh – and you don’t have to use my fabric to participate or even be eligible for prizes, but for those who would like to….

I don’t have access to distributor records, which include international orders, so it isn’t a complete list, but this will get you started. If you are a shop that bought the line that isn’t listed here, PLEASE contact me and I’ll add you to the list. And if you are an international shop that has it, definitely contact me, because I have no way of getting that information otherwise.
