My Memories digital scrapbook giveaway

Posted on 45 Comments

Last week My Memories contacted me asking if I would like to give away a copy of their software to one of my blog readers.    Well, of course I want to give you all the opportunity to win something fun for free!

I played around with the software this week.  (To see more info about the actual software click here. They gave me a code for you to enter at checkout to get $10 off – STMMMS36473.)  Anyway, you  can use it to make lots of things – photo albums, cards, invitations.  My favorite feature was the ability to select a bunch of photos, select a book design, and watch as it automatically thread the photos throughout – like this….

Fun!

To enter this give away hop on over to the My Memories site and click on “Digital Scrapbooking Kits” on the sidebar.  Come back here and leave one comment on this post telling me which kit is your favorite.   Don’t forget to leave me a way to contact you should you win.  Have fun!

The deadline for entries is this Monday the 12th at midnight.
Happy sewing!

#194, Maggie, who said:
I never wreck my vacuum by sucking up snarls of loose threads and pins. That’s why we buy vacuum belts by bulk.

Ha ha! Nor do we, Maggie!
Thanks to everyone for participating.  I am so far behind in my emails that I haven’t gotten to write back to everyone, but we read every single big fat lie and they were hysterical.  Who would have ever thought so many swimsuit models and chocolate-haters reading this blog!

Late this week I’ll have a giveaway of some scrapbook software – so check back soon.

Happy sewing!

Veranda Interview at Fat Quarter Shop

Posted on 8 Comments

Hi everyone,
In the interest of totally shameless self-promotion, I wanted to let you know that I’ll be talking about Veranda on Fat Quarter Shop’s great blog, The Jolly Jabber, tomorrow.  Fat Quarter Shop was one of the first places to pick up my entire pattern line when it came out and they have such a great blog.  (Also lots of sales through their twitter feed so it is definitely worth following!)  They also kitted Jewels of My Garden, which appeared in Quiltmaker this summer and will be added to my pattern line in the not-so-distant future.

For visitors from The Jolly Jabber, please comment on yesterday’s post to enter my Garden Paths and Verand Roll-Up Giveaway.  (I am so enjoying reading all your big fat lies about yourselves incidentally, and that is NO lie!)  Welcome!

Happy sewing!
