Crescendo is now shipping!

My Crescendo line for Contempo of Benartex is now shipping to local quilt shops!

It is such a happy line, and you can see more about it in this video….

There are three patterns that go with this line.  Pineapple Passion, which makes great use of fat quarters….

Paradise, which is 10”-square friendly and even has a download code for embroidery-in-the-hoop files!  (The files are in many formats for different brands, but for reference the table runner files fit in a BERNINA Oval Hoop and the quilt files fit in a BERNINA Maxi Hoop.)  I used 50 wt. Aurifil thread for these designs.

And last, but not least, Plumeria – a fun table topper that teaches trapunto.  I used 28 wt. Aurifil for the Applique!

The patterns for all three are available as a discounted printed bundle here and a discounted PDF bundle here.

If you love this line and/or the project give your local shop a call.  If you aren’t lucky enough to have a local shop I do have a LIMITED amount of Pineapple Passion kits and Paradise Quilt kits.

Happy quilting!

Amanda

  1. Hi Amanda,
I’m writing you because you are bernina’s spoke person. Hope this is ok. I have a 770 quilter. Love it. But I have a question. I have been using decorative stitches to sew on binding on small quits. Some stitches work great. I was trying to use the decorative stitch floral 101 . This is a row of tulips. On my sample they look great. Just like the manual. But when I use them on the binding, not even close to the design. I had this happen before. No problem using the feature stitch, but would like to use the other stitches. Do you have any idea what is happening and how I can fix it? Thank you ,
    Nancy

    1. I’d contact your tech. The only thing I can think of is that you’d have to adjust the presser foot presser to accommodate such a large thickness. But your tech would know better than me.
