Can you believe it?
I flew out to Des Moines in the spring of this year to talk with Mary Fons of Quilty and Love of Quilting and that conversation can be seen here.
The people at Fons and Porter were so great and made me feel right at home. I designed a quilt called “Bella’s Garden”, using my Bella line for Blend Fabrics, especially for this issue. Hope you like it!

This quilt I designed based off of an applique snowflake block is on newsstands now in the fall 2013 issue of Quiltmaker’s Quilts from 100 Blocks.
This morning my friend Cherry, of Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio, sent me a photo that made my day! She made Holiday Forest, from Modern Holiday with a touch of red and it is hanging in her local library. I love it!
Isn’t it cheerful? Some other exciting news… I’m about to go film a class with Craftsy! Can’t wait to tell you more about that!
