Blossoms… for Christmas!

Hi everyone!
When Blossoms debuted this past spring, I think I mentioned that I really wanted to try it in Christmas fabrics.  Well, a friend took me up on that and commissioned a Blossoms quilt in Kate Spain’s Flurry fabric, with just a little bit of Doodlebug Design’s Christmas Candy thrown in.  I changed the leaves to be a little pointed, so that the blossoms look like pointsettas.  I’m taking it to Deborah tomorrow and can’t wait to see what magic her quilting adds, but in the meantime, here are some sneek peeks…

I love the how the vibrant colors frame the big white flowers!

On another front, my market-booth-neighbor, Brandy Masher, created a really neat wall hanging using a charm pack of Veranda.  You can see it on Ribbon Candy Quilt Company’s blog.  Isn’t it sweet?
